      Generators are a known source of electrical power. They are devices that are used to convert mechanical energy to electricity. They are basically a reverse energy of that of a motor. Generators create this electricity by forcing electric charges through an external electrical circuit. Of which can be used for emergency power in the case of a disaster or power outage.

The engine generator or the human powered electrical generator; the engine generators usually the more expensive of the two but are simple to use. While the human powered electrical generators take a little more muscle-power behind them to create electricity.
        Both of these types of generators can be found easily both online and offline. They can be purchased at hardware stores and emergency preparedness stores alike; at many different prices. There are generators that can fit any budget of every family.
