There are many government agencies that can and will help to make a school and its teachers prepared for survival in the case of an emergency.
       First and foremost you should teach children to use a little bit of common sense. Communicate with the students and hold drills that could indeed save their lives. Not only should they be taught how to evacuate during a natural disaster; but how to stay prepared in the instance of a man-made disaster as well.
