While being a pack rat is often times frowned upon, survival stockpiling is a wonderful thing to practice. It is this practice that can mean the difference between survival and death in an emergency situation.

Despite the word stockpiling having a bad reputation in this day and age, that would all depend on what you are stocking up on. Stocking up on food, water, and any other necessity that would help you to survive a disaster or emergency is never a bad thing.

However, it is the method in which you practice survival stockpiling that matters. Keeping your stockpile well organized and frequently monitored for expiration dates is a must. Especially since this is your livelihood in case of an emergency.
