Survivalist food storage

The survivalist food storage is a simple and wonderful way of staying prepared for an emergency. While you are able to survive for weeks or a month without food; what is the point? Staying prepared and keeping a food storage can prevent hunger during a time of emergency.
Your first step in having survivalist food storage is to know how much food you will need. You should take into account how many people are in your family. You should plan for a minimum of two meals per day for your average person and three per day for pregnant women, children, the disabled, and seniors. However, it never hurts to have more than what you might need per day to survive. You should be prepared for a minimum of three days up to a year.
Lastly, you will need to make sure that your food storage is well organized. Making it easier to re-supply and rotate out expired foods. Don’t forget the water!
